SCOTT CITY - Marco K. Huynh, 35, died Feb. 1, 2008, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita.

He was born July 25, 1972, in Hong Kong, China, the son of Lang Ly. A resident of Scott City since 1999, moving from Oakland, Calif., he was a dietary aide at Park Lane Nursing Home, and owner and operator of Faithful Little Ones Day Care, both at Scott City.

He belonged to Immanuel Southern Baptist Church , Scott City.

On June 30, 2000, he married Lavona R. Troyer in Scott City. She survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Zachary, Scott City; two daughters, Melanie Huynh and Alicia Huynh, both of Scott City; and a sister, Catherine Huynh, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Tiffany.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Price and Sons Funeral Home, Scott City, with the Rev. Robert Nuckolls presiding. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Marco Huynh Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
