Mark French Baker

Mr. Mark French Baker, born on July 19, 1961, passed away suddenly on February 22, 2009, after a brief illness. A distinguished member of the Sacramento community for 23 years, Mark was a loving husband to his wife Daria Baker for over 21 years. He can be remembered for his sense of humour, love of nature, music and traveling the world, treating people with kindness and respect and a love for all that life had to offer. He will be missed deeply. Friends are welcome for visitation on Friday, March 6, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Herberger's Elk Grove Funeral Chapel, 9101 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, Calif., and attend his life celebration on Saturday, March 7 at 2:30 p.m., at Sacramento Central SDA Church, 6045 Camellia Ave., Sacramento, Calif. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mark Baker's wonderful life can be made to an educational scholarship fund with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Gamma Phi Lambda Chapter, 1714 Franklin Street, #100-246, Oakland, CA 94612, Attn: Baker Legacy Scholarship Fund.
