PAMELA IRENE GARCIA-RALSTON - A resident of Oakland, was born October 15, 1951 to Fred and Rita Garcia.
Pamela was a graduate of Oakland
High School in 1969 and later received her AA Degree. In high school she blossomed into a beautiful young woman,
excelling her all her classes. She especially enjoyed being involved in the student body government, making many trips
with the group to Sacramento to gain additional knowledge about the government process. Pamela was a member of the
Camellia organization, proud to help them in fund raising for many worthy causes.
Tragedy came early when her mother
passed away in 1968. She married after high school and was blessed with her daughter, Katrina, whom she adored.
Professionally, Pamela was an office manager for several prominent, Periodontist and general D.D.S. in Oakland.
Fortunately she had many wonderful experiences traveling in Europe and exotic tropical islands. Remarkably, Pamela
survived 2 aneurysms, first in 1989 and then in 1994. Sadly her health was in decline ever since. We will always
remember her beauty, intelligence and wittiness. Pamela left us all behind from her home in Oakland, Monday afternoon,
February 11, 2002.
She is survived by her daughter, Katrina Ralston of Oakland, her father, Fred Garcia and step-mother, Aletta
Garcia of Castro Valley, her brother Vincent Garcia of San Leandro, sister Canda Emmeluth and brother-in-law,
Bruce Emmeluth of Pacific Palisades.
She was preceded in death by her mother Rita and brother Lester.
