LAWRENCE "LARRY" A. DEL GADO May 16, 1949 - March 22, 2003 Peacefully entered into rest after respiratory complications. Preceeded in death by his parents Lou and Hazel Del Gado, Oakland natives. Survived by his loving wife, Joann of Ione and devoted daughter, Stacy Michelle of Castro Valley. Attended Oakland public schools and Laney College. Career started as a newspaper carrier for the Oakland Tribune, advanced to District Manager and later Circulation Manager for the Montclarion. For many years he worked for AAA Auto Assoc. in the Bay Area and later Stockton. Most recently he enjoyed his antique shop in Jackson. His passion for collecting fire-fighters memorabilia was a major joy. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life Monday, March 31, 2003, 11:00 a.m., Park Blvd., Pres.
