Warren G. H. Moore, II passed away Saturday, February 1, 1986 in the V. A. Medical Center Martinez, CA. A native of Berkeley CA born October 9, 1946. Attended Bella Vista Elementary School, McChesney Junior High School and Oakland High School in Oakland, CA. Warren lived in Oakland until he graduated from Oakland High School June, 1964. After working in Oakland 3 years, during which time he was active in the Youth Council of the NAACP, he volunteered for service in the U.S. Airforce. In May 1968 Warren was named Airman of the month at Hamilton Air Force Base.
After his honorable discharge Warren lived in Sacramento, CA. While still in service he graduated from Golden Gate College in 1972 and went on to continue his education at Golden Gate University Education Service Dept. Mather AFB, CA.
He published two papers, "The Repo Lister" and "The Default Lister." Warren as a broker conducted seminars on other Real Estate related items.
Warren was baptized at the Evergreen Baptist Church in early 1950 by the late pastor, Rev. James L. Richard. After returning to Oakland he united with the Progressive Baptist Church pastored by Rev. Earl C. Stuckey.
Warren was a faithful and dedicated young Christian man at Progressive, serving as Associate Superintendent of the Sunday School Dept., a Sunday School teacher, tutor in the Tutoring Ministry, a Deacon, trustee and Brotherhood Man.
He leaves to mourn a devoted and loving wife Temple Marie Harris-Moore; a devoted father, Warren G. H. Moore, I; a loving mother, Melzrine Lavan-Moore; devoted grandparents, Spencer and Nettie Moore, of Oakland;; two sisters, Deitra R. Atkins and Stephanie D. Moore of Oakland and Richmond respectively; two brothers, Jules S. Moore of Colorado Springs, CO, and Rev. Michael L. Moore of Oakland; loving mother-in-law Katherine Harris of Oakland; one Aunt Velma Martin of Pinole, CA; two uncles, Robert Biggers of Oakland, CA, and Morrel Biggers of Seattle, WA; five sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, other uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.
