Richard William Johnson II, 55, of Sonora died Thursday at his home.

Mr. Johnson was a native of Mobile, Ala. He lived in Sonora six years and in Oakland 40 years. He was team manager for four years at Oakland High School.

He is survived by his father, Richard Johnson of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; mother, Lorraine Snyder Dalton of Hayward; and sister, Kathryn Morgan of Discovery Bay.
