Janet Claire Andersen, 58, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2004, in Napa. Janet was born to Chester Gustafson and Phyllis LaBrie on September 13, 1945, in Oakland, California. She attended Woodstock Elementary in Alameda, San Leandro Junior High, and graduated from Oakland High School. After high school, she worked at Alameda Naval Air Station, California. She was involved in local city leagues, including softball, soccer, bowling and golf. She then transferred to Jacksonville Naval Air Station, Fla. She was a logistical program manager at her retirement after 34 years of government service. She moved to Napa and opened "Sisters and Company Coffee and Donuts" shop in Napa Valley, where she worked with her sisters until her passing.

Janet is survived by son, Eric Andersen, of Bakersfield, Calif., granddaughter, Alexis Andersen, of Bakersfield, Calif.; parents, Phyllis and Lloyd LaBrie, of Napa, Calif.; sisters, Doreen Whittaker (George) of Roberts Creek, Canada, Joan Key (Tryerron) of Jasper, Ala., Phyllis Cole (Dennis) of Clearlake, Calif., Cynthia Norall (David) of Carlsbad, Calif., Robin Jackson (Glenn) of Napa, Calif., and Dee LaBrie of Budd Lake, N.J; and brothers, Larry LaBrie (Pat) of Pleasanton, Calif., Mark LaBrie (Annie) of Merdham, N.J., Doug LaBrie (Barbara) of Washington, N.J., and Jerry LaBrie of Pittscataway, N.J. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, cousins and friends. Janet was predeceased by her father, Chester Gustafson, grandpa James Gibson, grandma Maude Gibson, grandma Alice Gustafson, uncle Amel Hesterberg, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2004, at the Club House of Napa Valley Mobile Home Park, 1040 Orchard Ave, Napa, Ca, 94558. Chaplain Lee Shaw officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Richard Pierce Funeral Service, 1660 Silverado Trail, Napa, California.
