Born on March 11, 1944, in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Passed peacefully at his home on April 10, 2008, at the age of 64 years.

Survived by his son and best friend, Matthew; sisters Julie (Ernie) Vierra and Sue (Larry) Sholtis; his nieces Becky, Megan and Anna Vierra, Liz (Jeff) Ammon and Katherine Sholtis. He is also survived by his aunt Virginia (Fred) Elms of Berkeley, CA, and Jeanne Nelson, Betty (Dick) Ogren of St. Croix Falls, WI. Numerous cousins, two ex-wives and many friends will continue with his love in their hearts.

Ron was an electrician and general contractor by trade, loved hot rods, drag racing and the Oakland Raiders. He was also a voracious reader. Ron graduated from Oakland High in 1962, and then later from Sacramento City College.
