Nancy Rees Nancy Evelyn Stillings, Age 55, passed away at her home in Union City August 17, 2000 after a relatively short bout with cancer. She is survived by her two living children, son Chris Cox and his wife Christina and daughter Stephanie Short and her husband Brett as well as adored grandchildren Nicholas and Amanda Short and a third grandchild on the way to be named Stephen Tyler Short. 'Nana' as she was called by her grandchildren, was loved and admired by all. She had been bedridden with psoriasis for over 20 years, but showed no signs of remorse or distress. Her outlook on life was one of a kind. Her family and friends knew they could always count on her for guidance and love. Although she maintained her illness for such a long itme, it seemed that there was nothing that could hold her back. She loved to talk to her friends on the computer and on the phone. She was extremely gifted at song writing, and dedicated a lot of her time to the art. She was so special that her family and friends never left her side through all the ups and downs in her life.
