Passed away Monday, January 12. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, John Gouailhardou. She was predeceased by her adored son Jon, her loving father, Jerry Beggs, and most recently her devoted sister Joanne Hollister. Also surviving Susan are her dear mother Dorothee Beggs, devoted brother Bill Beggs and brother-in-law Bob Hollister, many loved nephews, nieces and valued friends.

A native of San Francisco, Susan grew up in Oakland, and was a graduate of San Francisco State University. Her warmth, intelligence, and caring personality served her well for 25 years as a substitute teacher in the Fremont Unified School District, where she was affectionately known as "Mrs. G" at Niles School.

At Susan's request, no service will be held. The family would like to thank her care givers at Kaiser Hospital Fremont. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Association or theAmerican Diabetes Association.
