RALPH HUEY WASHINGTON Age 60, a resident of Oakland, California, died on February 2, 2004 after a long illness. He was born in Patterson, Louisiana, the son of the late Zephora and Paul L. Washington of New Orleans, Louisiana. Ralph is survived by Dyanne Hammerquist and Freddie Jean Goins, his life companions; daughters and sons-in-law Ollie and Louis Arnold of Oakland, California, and Yvette and Erich Nall of Los Angeles, California; grand children Louis, Jr., Renee, and Rachel Arnold, Tahirah, Kamilah and Malaika Nall; sister and brother-in-law Saundra and Willie Whire of New Orleans; sisters Linda Jackson of Oakland, Glenda Brown of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Cherrilynne Thomas of New Orleans; brothers and sisters-in-law. W.L. and LetressWashington, Nathan and Clara Mae Washington of New Orleans; sisters-in-law Eleanor Washington of New Orleans and RubyWashington of Georgia, aunt Ruth Washington of New Orleans, and uncle M. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2004, at Fouche's Hudson Funeral Home, 3665 Telegraph Ave., Oakland, CA.
