Barnard "Jerry" D. Benner, 61, of Manteca, died Monday, June 28, 2004. He was born in Oakland on June 4, 1943. He lived in San Joaquin County for 20 years.

Jerry was an inspector for the Airline Industry. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served from Sept. 1961 to Sept. 1965. He was an active member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge as well as the Clampers. He enjoyed gardening and going on early morning walks. Jerry will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Jerry is survived by his son, Jerrod Benner of Manteca; his daughter, Christina Kirkus of Dublin; his sister, Bonnie Fernandez of Pleasanton; his granddaughter, Hailey Benner of Manteca.

Park View Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements, 3661 E. French Camp Rd. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 1 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 1185 N. Main St., Manteca.
