Nancy Bedell Stone June 25, 1943 - Dec. 17, 2009 Resident of Walnut Creek Born in Oakland to Roberta and Harrison Bedell, Nancy was the beloved wife of John Stone, the devoted mother of Robert, Michael, and Patricia, a caring friend to their spouses Dana, Jennifer, and Mike, and the adored grandmother of Andrew, Emily, Lauren, Caitlen, Jack, and Ned Stone, and Logan and Payton Heaney.

Nancy loved her family and friends and was an avid hiker, walker, and runner. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved nature and gardening. One of her favorite things was to travel the world with her husband.

She was employed by Sedgwick Claim Management in Walnut Creek - a job that challenged and interested her always. Her caring interest in the lives of those around her made her special. Her family and friends will forever honor and cherish her memory.
