Leslie Martha Molitor of Groveland died Sept. 2 at a Modesto medical center. She was 62.

She was born in Berkeley. She had lived in Groveland for two and a half years and previously had lived in Livermore where she retired from working at the Lawrence Livermore Lab.

Her family said she had a huge heart, and she loved more than anything to spend time with her grandchildren, was proud of all of them and no accomplishments were too small. She enjoyed gardening and animals, her family added.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Joe Montano; sons and daughter-in-law, Pat and Sissy Morgan of Oakley, Contra Costa County, and Mike Morgan of Manteca; a daughter, Jill Molitor of San Diego; stepsons, Bob Montano and his wife, Eileen, and Brick Montano and his wife, Sarah, all of Livermore; a stepdaughter, Ember Foley and her husband, Jim, of Livermore; a brother and sister-in-law, Graham and Marilyn Alexander of Groveland; a brother-in-law, Carl Shelen of Pleasanton; and grandchildren, Justin and Halee Morgan, Lindsay and Amanda Montano, Rachel and James Foley and Kirsten Filler.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Wilsons Chapel, 3070 East Ave., in Livermore.
