Larry Hultgren of Lafayette, California, passed away on November 6. His wife Glenda of 41 years, daughter Sharon, son Ken, grandchildren Alyson, Michelle and Scott, survive Larry.

Larry grew up in Oakland, graduating from Oakland High in 1955 and attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Larry spent his career in the construction industry, with the last 16 years as founder and president of the Larry E. Hultgren Company, an architectural consulting firm.

A long time member and deacon of Oakland First Covenant Church, he was also a board member of Joni and Friends. Larry's commitment to service and his heart for people in need has been an inspiration to his many friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held at Oakland First Covenant Church, 4000 Redwood Road, California 94619, at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 9th. Memorials may be sent to the church of Faith Network of the East Bay, 3722 Young Avenue, Oakland, CA 94619.
