LESLY JANE SCHWARZ 65 years, entered peacefully into rest on Saturday, March 2, 2002 at Kaiser Hospital in Hayward. She was born on November 15, 1936 in Oakland, California. She was a resident of the Fremont/Newark area for over 30 years. Lesly was a graduate of Oakland High School in 1954 and received her paralegal certificate from San Jose State University. She was a paralegal secretary for over 40 years and worked for law firms from the Oakland to San Jose area. Lesly enjoyed quilting, crocheting and needle point crafts, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed all of her grandchildren and their many sporting events and activities. She attended Bible Study Fellowship in Pleasanton until poor health prevented her from continuing. She was also once a member of the Lido Laners Bowling Match club in Newark. She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, Robert J. Schwarz Jr.. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Laura Susan Donaldson and grandson Garrett Thomas Baca. She was a loving mother to Julie Mulhern of Fremont, Renee Baca of Newark, Lori Becker of Fremont, Steven Schwarz of Newark, and Amy Taitano of Fremont. She was an adoring mother-in-law to Patrick Mulhern, Daniel Baca, Sandra Schwarz and Rob Taitano. She was a loving grandmother to David Lyseng, Dena Lyseng, Anissa Taitano, Shawne Tatitano, Kyle Mulhern, Lauren Baca, Kristin Mulhern, Brieana Becker, Nichole Schwarz, Katelyn Baca,Christopher Baca, Jenna Becker, Markee Schwarz, Emily Baca, Andreya Taitano and Stevie Schwarz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claire Trygstad Pereira and Harold Monsen, and sister Betsy Monsen. Family and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, March 7, 2002 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont.
