PAXIAO, Barbara Jean (Souza) Born May 22, 1933, in Oakland, Calif., she passed away on January 14, 2008, in Roseville, Calif. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Donald J. Paxiao, and children Steven (Juli) Paxiao, Dawn (Randy) Beardsley, and Lisa (Quentin) Beard. Grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of three. Sister Shirley (Conrad) Bohuslav of Moraga, Calif. and brother Noel (Betty) Lanctot of San Jose, Calif. Preceded in death by her mother Florence Lanctot of Oakland, Calif. and father Frank Souza of San Leandro, Calif.

She attended elementary school at St. Jarlath's and graduated in 1952 from Oakland High School in Oakland, Calif. Services will be held on January 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery, 7101 Verner Ave. Sacramento, Calif. In lieu of flowers and gifts please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
