Meese, Clifford, entered into rest at Kaiser Hospital in Walnut Creek on Wednesday, January 10, 2001. He was 66. A native of Oakland. He lived in Danville and was a Contra Costa County resident for 38 years. A graduate of U.C. Berkeley, he worked for Paific Telesis Company for 36 years, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed restoring his 1967 Ford Mustang convertible, was an accomplished Trumpet player and an avid reader.

He is survived by his wife Gloria of 46 years, sons: Timothy of Oakland, James of El Sobrante Jerry of Walnut Creek, Jeff of Atlanta, Georgia, Daughter; Jennifer of Danville and four grandchildren; Shara, Jessica, Dillon and Naila. He is also survived by his brothers Edwin Meese III and George Meese. A third brother, Myron Meese passed away in 1990.

Services: Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 5201 Park Blvd., Piedmont CA with burial at Mojntain View Cemetery in Oakland.
