Clifford Bruce Davis
July 7, 1930 ~ March 6, 2010

Formerly of Walnut Creek Clifford is survived by his loving wife Lois Davis; amazing sister Shirley Morris; his children Suzanne Davis-Lucey, Victoria Oliver, and Scott Davis. Clifford was preceded in death by his son Glen Davis. Grandchildren are Jared, Micah and Elisha Hamilton, Matthew, Lauren and David Oliver, Brandon Davis, and great-grandson Brady Oliver. Clifford was the third child of four born to Clifford Sr. and Myrtel Davis. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1947-1950. He attended U.C. Davis. Clifford owned and operated in Walnut Creek "Davis Donuts" (a favorite of the Walnut Creek police Dept.), "Clifford's Coffee Shop," and the "Knights Inn Bar." He retired in 1993 to Pine Mountain Lake in Groveland, CA. Clifford enjoyed traveling on cruises with Lois and loved to play endless rounds of golf with his friends. Clifford was a member of the Elks Club, a supporter of Pop Warner Football and a supporter of Young Life Ministry. Celebration of Clifford's Life will be held at Oakmont Memorial Park, 2099 Reliez Valley Rd., Lafayette, in Inspiration Chapel at 10:00am Thursday, April 1, 2010. Services are open to family and friends. Reception following the service will be held at Zio Fraedo's Italian Restaurant, 611 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill.
