Carolyn J. (Ohlschlager) Ricardi Longtime Concord Resident Carolyn, was born December 6, 1929 in Creston, Iowa, and died peacefully on Sunday, December 20, 2009 with her family at her side. Her hobbies included crossword puzzles, genealogy, computer and research of family military members who served our country proudly. Employed by Ohio Chemical where she met her husband of 50 years, Marino P. Ricardi. She attended University High School in Oakland and graduated from Oakland High School. She was a stay-at-home wife and mother who wanted no part of political correctness nor global warming propaganda. She was a life-long Conservative. Her positive outlook on life taught her family to smile amidst adversity. She was a wise woman, teaching life's lessons even in the last hours of her life. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Janet Kimball, who was such a great help in the last years of her life; her grandchildren Jefferey Sartori and Lynette Sartori, whom she loved so very much; and her son-in-law, Dean Kimball, who helped her in so many ways. Her husband, Marino (Ric), and son, Steven predeceased her. A Memorial Celebration of her life will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 9, 2009 at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord. Private Inurnment will be with her husband Marino and son Steven at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette.
