James Herbert Boghosian Dec. 14, 1929 - Jan. 29, 2008 Resident of Carmel Valley, Calif. Passed away in Monterey County peacefully after a long battle with OPCA, a degenerative brain disease.

All who were blessed to know Jim always adored his gentle spirit and love for life on earth and for mankind. Jim was born in Berkeley and raised in the Bay Area. He went to Oakland High School, attended UC Berkeley and was also a Veteran of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He enjoyed boating, tennis, community service and most of all, having precious time to spend with friends and family.

He is survived by his daughter, Denise Hansen of Concord and son, Brad Boghosian of Carmel Valley. Also, special to Jim is his granddaughter, Courtney Hansen who is attending college in Nevada.

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday, February 5th, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. at Oakmont Memorial Park (Inspiration Chapel) in Lafayette (925) 935-3311. A memorial reception will follow at Zio Fraedo's in Pleasant Hill.
