Loving father of Mary Wooll Jenevein of Oakland, and of Elizabeth Jenevein Carpenter of Newark, Ohio, grandfather of Kristina E. and Timothy J. Orndorf, loving great-grandfather of twins Jace and Josephine Orndorf, all of Heath, Ohio. Preceded in death by brother Donald R. Jenevein, and parents George A. and Esther E. Jenevein. Dear brother-in-law of Mary S. and Jack E. Kincaid of Castro Valley, and of Merritt W. "Mike" and Doris B. Wanty of Oakdale. Dear uncle of Bill Jenevein and Linda Wilcox, Doug and Kim Jenevein, Steve and Kathy Jenevein, Diane and Pat Ravanesi, Christine and Bob Sutton, Carol and Bill Ehrler, "Jake" and Tori Wanty; great uncle of sixteen, great-grand uncle of four. Dear friend of Peter and Barbara Kyhn and Beverly Yungert of Oakland, Lester and Marge Westling of Redding and Bruce Hoskinson of Newark, Ohio. A native and longtime resident of Oakland. Educated in Oakland Public Schools: Sequoia, Bret Harte, Oakland High, Central Trade School Printing Department, and Merritt School of Business. A graduate of St. Mary's College at Moraga and General Theological Seminary at New York City. A member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church; and a retired Episcopal deacon serving more than forty years in three Episcopal parishes, St. Peter's, St. Cuthbert's and St. Paul's. World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy, served on U.S.S. St. Paul (CA-73), former employee of Key System, Chevrolet-Oakland Division of GMC, C.P.A. with Wallace, Meyer, Morrow & Smith, and retired after a quarter-century with the Bay Area Rapid Transit District. A founding member of the Bay Area Electric Railroad Asscociation, member of the Electric Railroaders' Association, and of the former Light Rail Transit Association. Friends are invited to attend the memorial requiem Eucharist on Sunday, May 16, 2010, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 114 Montecito Avenue at Bay Place (near Grand Avenue and Harrison Street), Oakland. Private interment at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma.
