Of Timberland Drive, Grass Valley, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008 at the age of 81. He was the loving husband of Gloria Beth, and the proud father of four sons, Jerry, Greg, Thomas and Gary.

Don was born Dec. 12, 1926, graduated from Oakland High and attended college at California State University at Berkeley. He enjoyed gardening and loved to backpack, fish and cook.

In addition to his wife and sons, he is survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of his life is planned in the coming weeks.
