Joseph Paul Sangenitto Joseph Paul Sangenitto
Mar. 13, 1924 - Nov. 10, 2011
Resident of Concord
Joseph passed away suddenly on Nov.10. He is survived by his wife of 64 years (Barbara), his two children (Gail & Gary), and his two grandchildren (Rosalie & Theo). He was born in Oakland and graduated from Oakland HS. He trained in the US Naval Air Corps. He graduated from UC Berkeley and then moved to Concord with Barbara. He used to hunt, fish, golf and tinker in the garage. He was an avid A's fan, a lover of FIATs and Elderhostels, and grooved to the tunes of Big Band and Sinatra. Joseph Paul SangenittoYou could find him at a card game with his OHS buddies, or skunking Gary, Theo or Tonya at cribbage. He was a GREAT storyteller. So Italian... So intense... So much fun! Donations can be made to one of Joe's favorite charities, ARF, or to a charity of your choice . Joe would say, "If you see someone I know, say hi to them for me." "That's life..."
