Margaret "Peggy" Williams Resident of Oakland Born in Oakland, CA on October 17, 1923. Passed away at Lake Park Retirement Home on May 5, 2010 at the age of 86. Resided in Oakland her entire life. Graduated from Oakland High class of 1941. Worked in the Insurance Industry for 45 years, retiring from Frank B. Hall of San Francisco in 1986. Daughter of the late Charles and Martha Williams. Peggy is survived by her cousin Clifford Caldwell and his wife Dorothy of Murphy's, CA and cousin Joyce Porter of Moraga. Also by second cousins Bob and Dick Caldwell of Portland, OR, Steve Caldwell of San Francisco, and Paul Caldwell of Oakland as well as their children. Peggy will also be missed by her many friends. Peggy loved to travel, golfed much of her life, was an impeccable dresser and never shied away from expressing her opinion! We will miss her strong character and good heart. Peggy was a long time member of Park Blvd. Presbyterian Church in Oakland. Services will be held there (4101 Park Blvd.) on Saturday, May 15 at 3:00 pm. A reception will follow in the church parlor. Memorial gifts in Peggy's memory can be made to the Park Blvd. Presbyterian Church or to one's favorite charity.
