Marlys L. Aboudara Jan. 3, 1923 - Sept. 27, 2007 Resident of Concord Beloved wife of Lester Aboudara for 62 years, loving mother of Emmy Cirese, devoted grandmother of Michele Frith, Evan and Collin Cirese, caring great-grandmother of Kaitlyn and Ian Frith, treasured mother-in-law of Eugene Cirese and grandmother-in-law of Michael Frith, all of Concord. Marlys is also remembered by longtime friends and neighbors and her many special sisters of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Marlys was a native of California and lived in Concord for 56 years. She attended school in Oakland and graduated from Oakland High School in 1941. She retired from federal employment after 33 years, after working at the Naval Supply Center in Oakland, the Oakland Army Base, and the Presidio in San Francisco. Known by her family as 'Mice', she enjoyed gardening, photography, reading, and orchids. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, October 20, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. at Oakmont Memorial Park, Redwood Chapel, 2099 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette, CA.
