VIVIAN LOUISE BORN 79, passed away July 20, 2002 at the Peninsula Medical Center in Burlingame from complications due to a stroke. She left our World for a better place with God, on her own terms and at her own time. Vivian resided in Foster City, where she retired in 1992 after many years as a legal secretary. She had earlier lived in San Mateo and San Francisco. Vivian worked for Owen, Melbve and Rohlff in Redwood City and for Wilson, Jones, Morton and Lynch in San Mateo. She graduated from Oakland High School in 1941, and worked as a secretary for the U.S. Navy during WWII. Berfore assuming her career, Vivian cared for her children at home and sold Tupperware. She was previously married to Phiip Born of San Francisco. She was the daughter of Iona Kline, who passed away in 1978. Vivian is survived by her daughter, Carolynne Iona Born (Ken Gurley) of Pittsburg and son, Michael Jeffrey Born of Foster City. She is also survived by her cousins Myrtle Jaber of Ione, California, Leon Bagly of Canton, New York and many more cousins in Wisconsin and New York. she was an avid reader and a fan of murder mysteries. Vivian was a native of Florida. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 11 A.M. at Duggan's Carlmont Chapel, 1101 Alameda, Belmont, followed by interment at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo.
