Harry Kahn Resident of Alamo Born in Oakland, February 11, 1924. Son of Morris
and Rose Kahn. Resident of Alamo for 26 years. Graduate of Oakland High 1941, Maritime Academy
1943, served in WWII as a cook, chief cook and chief stewart on several ships. Worked for Emil
Villa's for 32 years in Walnut Creek, Oakland and San Leandro locations. His wife, Gladys Kahn
preceded him in death by 10 years. His companion and friend Meryl Sarver also preceded him.
Survived by his sister, Muriel Burnham of Albany; brother, Mark Kahn and wife Marci Kahn of Alamo;
nieces Julie Crowder, Christine Jones, Lisa Matia and Beth Kahn; and great-nieces and nephews.
