BERNITA GRACE HADLEY JULY 4, 1923 - FEB 7, 2009 Viewing for Bernita Grace Hadley, 85, of Turlock will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Friday at Allen Mortuary. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 21 at Crossroads Church in Turlock.

Bernita was born in Fort Worth, Texas to her parents, Walter and Katie Douglass, in 1923. She attended Oakland High School and graduated in 1941. She married her husband, Eldon Hadley, in October of 1943.

Bernita worked as an LVN and enjoyed her job working at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. She and Eldon owned a small farm in Turlock where they enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren when they visited. Bernita was a member of Crossroads Church in Turlock. She loved to travel and enjoyed photography and flowers.

She is survived by her children, Carol Fawver of Colorado, Gloria (Dan) Brill and Joseph (Lauri) Hadley all of Roseville, Calif.; sister Rena Azary; nieces, Kay Courter and Melanie Baltazore; grandchildren, Darilyn Sharp, Krissy Randell, Jeanette Borland, Jared Fawver, Justin Brill, Katie Fawver, Curtis Fawver, Jonathan Fawver, Rafael Fawver, Matthew Brill, Elizabeth Fawver, Amanda Fawver, Diane Velencia and David Fawver; great grandchildren, Kelly Borland, Kyle Borland, Kylie Velencia, Laura Sharp, Adam Sharp, Isaac Sharp, Grace Sharp, Seth Randall Jr., Isaac Randall and Becka Gerber; dear friends, Dick and Vivigin Butler, whom she was friends with for over 60 years and resided with at Covenant Village.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Hadley; sister, Tympell; and brother, Ernie Douglass.
