Friday, April 11, 2003 - PLEASANTON -- Raymond Frederick Perry, a California native, died Sunday,
April 6, 2003. He was 80.
Mr. Perry was born Dec. 11, 1922, in Stockton. As a youngster, his family moved to Oakland and he attended Oakland High School,
graduating in 1940.
He enjoyed wild birds, oil painting and playing ping-pong and checkers.
Mr. Perry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Phyllis Perry; daughters, Cindy Jessup of Tracy, Lynette Hamburg of Cameron Park,
Bambi Gallagher of Pittsburg and Diane Perry of Pleasanton; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were previously held. He was buried in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Livermore.
