Cynthia McCabe Cynthia McCabe Danielson Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2009, at the age of 87. She was born in Oakland, California where she attended Oakland Public Schools and graduated from Oakland High School, she attended UC Berkeley where she met her husband. She resided in Marin County for the last fifty-six years. She worked for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Marin and the County Probation Dept. Cynthia is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, Jack Roland Danielson and her sister, Marjorie McCabe. She is survived by her children, Joe (Sara) Danielson of Richmond, Nora Danielson Redfern (Francis) of Texarkana, Texas, Megan Danielson Franks (Bill) of Houston, Texas and Abigail Danielson of Novato. "Mimi" also leaves behind eight grandchildren; Ryan, Natalie, Erin, Nick, Brady, Delaney, Jesse and Clancy and great-granddaughters; Ella, Laney, Ava, Adeline and Landry. Her family appreciated her creative cooking (except beef tongue and liver) and her family and friends will remember her fondly for her quick wit and biting sense of humor. She was intelligent, well read and was wonderful company. Mimi will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
