JENKINS, Jean F. Born October 8, 1921, passed away January 29, 2009. Born in Burlingame, Kansas, moved to Oakland, California in 1923. Graduated from Oakland High School, attended University of the Pacific in Oregon. An accomplished pianist, she began playing for church services and special occasions when she was 14, and continued for the rest of her life. She raised two sons and is survived by her husband of 62 years, William Jenkins, her sons Daryl Jenkins and David Jenkins, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services to be held at Lind Brothers Mortuary, Carmichael, at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 3, 2009.
