October 22, 1921 - April 4, 2003 Former resident of Oakland and Moraga, CA. Pilot in WWII. Worked as an engineer at KQED, retired from there. Survived by his wife, Bonnie, son, John M. Salvin III, daughter, Nicki Salvin Wright, six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Private memorial service to be held Saturday, April 12, 2003 in Woodinville, WA.
