ROY E. MAHLSTEDT May 20, 1920 - November 16, 2003 Passed quietly in sleep 11/16. He was a resident of Rounseville Hospital &s; Rehabilitation Center in Oakland. He was a Occupational Therapist & Disability Evaluation Supervisor. He was a graduate of Oakland High School, Class of '38. Attended Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation, N.Y. C., 1947, UC Berkeley X42, graduate of San Jose State University, B.A., 1951. Former Board member Cerebral Palsy Center-Oakland, one time Boy Scout Master, Disabled Boy Scout Troop sponsored by Oakland Traffic Club. He leaves one sister, Mrs. Nyla Mahlstedt Shafer of Salt Lake City and a brother, William B. Mahlstedt of Oakland and nieces, Linda Mahlstedt Bowman and Joan Easterbrooks Groves of Berkeley plus four nieces and nephews out of state. Family plans no memorial.
