Jean Lind Kindall Dec. 16, 1920 ~ Feb. 1, 2011 Resident of Lafayette, CA Jean was born in Oakland, CA to Lillian and Frank Lind. She grew up in Oakland and attended Oakland High School, class of 1938. In 1944 she married Lloyd (Lee) E. Kindall, Jr. They resided in Walnut Creek and Lafayette, CA, where they raised their family. Jean was involved in school activities with her children, volunteered with the Laurel, Jr. Children's Hospital branch, and was on the board of the Diablo Cotillion for many years. She enjoyed playing bridge with numerous groups and golf at the Contra Costa Country Club. Jean was predeceased by her husband Lee and her sister Doris Ransom. She is survived by her brother Norman Lind (Florence), her son Eric Kindall and daughter Kathy Berger (Marc), her grandchildren: Marcie Kindall Lukacs (Julius), Cindy Kindall Quinones (Julio), Matthew Berger (Vanessa), and Kimberly Berger, and great-grandchildren: Samuel, Jacob, Benjamin, and Joseph Lukacs, Ayden and Gabriel Quinones, and Lillian Berger. The family will have a private memorial gathering. Contributions to the American Lung Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
