Passed away at home on May 16, 2002 at the age of 81 years. Born in Iowa and a long time resident of Oakland and Clayton, CA and a 5 year resident of Brentwood, CA.

Bob was a graduate of Oakland High and U.C. Berkeley. He served in the Air Force during World War II and worked for Prudential Life Insurance Co. for more than 30 years before retiring.

Bob will be remembered as a loving and caring husband and father who had a great sense of humor. He always saw the good in everyone and was loved by all.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Dorothy, his son Larry and three daughters, Barbara, Carol and Cathy. He is also survived by his brother Richard of Arizona. He had four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and many nephews and nices.

At Bob's request, no funeral will be held. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sutter VNA and Hospice, 1900 Bates Ave., Suite A, Concord, CA 94520.
