NORMAN H.C. FOSS A native of Oakland, age 82, passed away peacefully January 11, 2002. Norman was born October 28, 1919 to Leonard and Ruby Foss. A graduate of Oakland High School, he was an aeronautical engineer. Norm was the retired President of Foss Lampshade Studios of Oakland, a lifetime member and past President of Montclair Lions Club, past President of Dale Carnegie-Oakland, and an avid pilot. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years Elizabeth Ann Foss; his dearest children Karen Allen of Orinda and Marc Foss of San Leandro; His loving son-in-law Howard Allen and daughter-in-law Gaye Foss; his adoring grandchildren Chip and Cindy Allen and Tony and Amanda Foss; and his devoted sister and brother-in-law Eleanor and Parke Blanton of Gold River. He is lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
