July 24, 1918 - May 17, 2002

Died at home in Orinda on May 17, 2002 at the age of 83. He was a graduate of Oakland High and Stanford University where he was a Zeta Psi and a pitcher on the baseball team. In World War II, he was a Navy pilot in blimps and fighter planes. He was a past member of the Olympic Club, the Orinda Country Club and the Pacific Union Club. Quentin is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth; four children Carol Kleps (Chris), Wendy Shearer (Richard), Sally Johnson ("Happy"), Peter Thompson ("Pinky"); and six grandchildren.
