Jean Ferguson Aronson January 24, 1917 - January 20, 2008

On January 20, 2008 Jean passed away peacefully in the comfort of her Palo Alto home of 57 years. She was born in Fitchberg, MA, and came to California in 1932. After graduating from Oakland High School she trained at Merritt Hospital and became a registered nurse in 1939. In 1940 she joined the Army Nurse Corps where she met and married Steven Aronson. They were happily married for over 65 years and she will be deeply missed by her husband Steven; their children Steven, Jr. and Peter M. Aronson; four grandchildren, Ethan, Leo, Michael and Erik and three great grandchildren.

Jean requested that no services be held. Contributions in memory of Jean may be made to the American Lung Association, 2171 Juniper Serra Blvd., Daly City, CA or to your favorite charity.
