F. J. Netherton Killed

SANTA CRUZ, -- This evening W. P. Netherton received a dispatch from Phoenix stating that his brother, Hon. F. J. Netherton, had been killed by being thrown from his horse. The deceased has held several important offices in Arizona under Gov. Hughes, and was principal of the Mesa City public schools. He was a graduate of the Oakland High School, and was recently admitted to the bar. His body will be removed to Byron, in Contra Costa country (sic), where his parents reside.
